The Revolut interview process typically runs five rounds over three to six weeks: a recruiter screen, a problem-solving case, a skills or role-specific round, a team-fit conversation, and a final bar-raiser. The problem-solving round is the one candidates most often fail, because it rewards structured thinking under ambiguity rather than a memorised framework.

I interviewed at Revolut for a Product Manager role and went through all five rounds. Everything below is what I actually experienced, plus what I'd tell myself before doing it again.
The five rounds at a glance
| # | Round | Format | Roughly how long | What it's really testing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Recruiter screen | Call | 20–30 min | Motivation, logistics, basic fit |
| 2 | Problem-solving case | Live case discussion | 45–60 min | Structure under ambiguity |
| 3 | Skills / role-specific | Live, role-dependent | 45–60 min | Depth in your actual craft |
| 4 | Team fit | Conversation with the team | 30–45 min | How you work with people |
| 5 | Bar raiser | Senior interviewer outside the team | 45–60 min | Consistency of the overall bar |
Durations are approximate — rounds ran a little over or under depending on how much the interviewer wanted to dig into a particular answer.
Which round actually decides it
The problem-solving round. It's the one with the highest variance and the least preparable surface — you can't memorise your way through it, because the interviewer is watching how you handle a problem you haven't seen. Everything else in the loop is a check on the picture that round creates.
That's also why it's worth seeing one worked all the way through rather than reading a description of it. Here's a full case end to end — the clarifying questions, the data that came back, and the recommendation I committed to.
How long the whole thing takes
Commonly three to six weeks end to end, though it varies more than most companies because scheduling is the bottleneck rather than decision-making. Candidates report anything from two weeks to two months depending on how quickly feedback moves between rounds and how easy it is to get senior interviewers in a room.
The gaps between rounds are where the time goes, not the rounds themselves. Five rounds at roughly an hour each is five hours of actual interviewing spread across more than a month.

Frequently asked questions
How many rounds does Revolut have?
Five in my experience: recruiter screen, problem-solving case, a skills or role-specific round, team fit, and a bar raiser. Some candidates report four or six depending on the role and seniority.
How long does the Revolut interview process take?
Commonly three to six weeks end to end, though candidates report anything from two weeks to two months depending on scheduling and how quickly feedback moves between rounds.
What is the hardest round at Revolut?
The problem-solving case. It has the widest variance in outcomes because it tests how you structure an unfamiliar problem in real time, which is much harder to prepare for than behavioural or role-specific questions.
Does Revolut have a bar raiser like Amazon?
Yes — a senior interviewer from outside the hiring team joins the loop to keep the hiring bar consistent across teams. The format is conversational but the questions probe for depth.
